Finishing Project 1 in maths.
This brought me the most satisfaction today because I have been working on it all week. Plus, my buddy who was supposed to be working on it all week was sick too.

100 word challenge
Can you invent a magical animal that could live in one of these magical places and tell us all about them?
The calpurl is a very curious creature that lives in the mystical woods of Lapu. The capurl might look similar to a fox, but it is in fact very different. First of all, the capurl has feathers on its body that replace its fur. To match the feathers the calpurl has a pair of pointy wings that lay flat across its body.
No-one has ever seen a calpurl on the ground because there are lots of predators in the woods of Lapu, which makes the calpurl’s wings very useful. Every night the calpurl soars into the sky, and returns to its home in the trees.

100 word challenge
Here is my 100 word challenge for term 2 week 2;
I opened the front door to find a package sitting at my feet. It was a small cardboard box, thoroughly wrapped in duct tape. I took it inside and rested it on my table and wondered who it came from. I turned it upside down, but there was no return address whatsoever. Strange, I thought.

I decided to open it, the curiosity killing me. I gasped, doing so knocking the box onto the floor. ‘What IS it?’I nervously asked myself.’Who sent it to me? When did it arrive?’ I said out of desperation. The thing in the parcel scaring me to death.

SHOUTED CRIMSON MISTY FRANTICALLY GRAVE
It was a cold, misty day, so I could only just see Molly. She was frantically waving her arms at me to follow her, but I was unsure. So she took a few steps forward when, the ground beneath her cracked. She shouted at me, saying it was fine, that this happened a lot and that it was nothing to worry about. The ground cracked again, threatening to give way, all the while Molly was singing a tune, saying that it would be fine. But the grave expression that appeared on her face seconds later made my heart stop. I couldn’t breathe as she tumbled away into oblivion. The rocks still freshly stained a bright crimson colour.

Reflective Question
I met success with reading the chapel reading without having learnt it.
Ms Hart will benefit from this, because now she knows that I am capable of doing this. So, she might choose me to do so again.
