3rd 100 word challenge

Hi people reading my blog. No-one there? Ok great. Oh well here is my weekly 100 word challenge...



This week we have a strange group invading the wood!

As we trudged through the woods on our ‘exciting’ nature walk I felt a something that made the hair on the back of my neck stand up straight. A spindly, hard hand tickled my arm. Like it was made out of wood. But I knew better. I knew it was alive.

I thundered to the front of the line to consult the nature walk instructor. “Hello, I wanted to-” I began to say before she started again. “This week we have a strange group invading the wood!” She explained. “But be warned they are very dangerous. They can injure or even kill you. So stay away at all costs-” She continued before she got interrupted by a very violent scream. Then everything went black.

100 word challenge

Here is my 100 word challenge, hope you enjoy!

… we were moving very fast when…

It was my first time on a cruise ship and I was amazed at the size of it. It was humongous - as big as a cross country track. Then I got the idea to run around the cruise ship.

So I gathered up lots of people and proposed a race - 1 lap around the ship, first one back gets $20. So we all got ready. 3...2...1...Go! Then we all fled in the same direction eager to win the $20. We were going very fast when we neared the back of the ship, but I didn’t turn.

So I fell off into the icy cold water below.
